Michael Warren is a Modern English London based Artist who has been drawing and painting contemporary London life for the past twenty years.
Michael was the official British artist, employed by London’s world famous landmark, the Battersea Power Station to cover the start of demolition from 1988 to 1990, where he collated a commissioned work collection of drawings and paintings which will shortly be published in book form to coincide with the regeneration of the old power station area.
Since the early 1990′s, Michael has been devoting an increasing amount of time to working in oils. His work is figurative with an emphasis on the urban landscape. He shows how people living in a large city physically exist in close proximity and yet manage to remain somehow separate from one another.
